What Is SISS Capital?
SISS Capital is a digital financial platform and community designed to increase the financial wellness of Black Women and families across the global diaspora. Building upon the success of its brother organization, BREAUX Capital, SISS is fusing culture, education, asset accumulation, and investing to provide a new approach to addressing the economic marginalization African people have experienced in the financial services industry and traditional social institutions.
And why are Black Men founding a financial platform for Black Women?
Because Black Women requested it from us.
This is something we absolutely do not take for granted. Over the past seven years since launching BREAUX Capital for Black Men, there has been a consistent demand from Black Women to see a brand and platform that leverages a similar business model and mission, but specifically for the community of Black Women.
Beyond this, we believe that Black Women DESERVE their own space for financial empowerment and that there are amazing opportunities for SISS and BREAUX Capital to synergize for the ultimate benefit of the Black families across the globe!
So, how will SISS Capital remain accountable to Black Women?
Firstly, SISS Capital's services will be dedicated to improving the lives of its Black Women Members and informed by their lived experiences This will translate to Black Women having power and representation on the Board of Directors and influence on major operational decisions and marketing – all while having the unwavering partnership of brother company – BREAUX Capital.
How is SISS Capital related to BREAUX Capital?
The science and thoughtful wisdom that went into growing BREAUX Capital into a trusted resource for Black Men in now being connected to the demand Black Women have expressed for something similar network and financial platform.
Is SISS Capital For Black Women Only?
Yes, SISS Capital's network is for Black Women. Also, we are an open-minded organization that will not discriminate against trans-humans that identify as Black Women presently.
The reason we reserve Membership for Black Women is because of the science related to peer group accountability and because we were founded with the idea of promoting a safe and empowering space for a specifically overlooked group.
Is SISS Capital a For Profit Enterprise or Nonprofit?
SISS Capital is a purpose-driven for-profit organization. We are firm believers that we don’t have to sacrifice money for the sake of doing well or sacrifice socially conscious activity for the sake of making money. We can do both at the same time – if done intentionally.
